Once you like the look and feel of your demo app, it is time to prepare your tvOS App for the App Store.
1.) Fill in your Apple TV publishing page
Log in to your Tappla dashboard and open Publishing > Apple TV. There you set the name shown under your icon on the Apple TV home screen, and upload your app icon and top shelf image. These are built into the app itself, so changing them later means a new build and another App Store review.
2.) Enroll In The Apple Developer Program
To publish your App to the App Store, Apple requires you to sign up for the Apple Developer Program. This currently costs USD 99 per year which you pay directly to Apple.
If you do not have an Apple Developer Account yet, we recommend creating an "Organization" account so your app is listed under your company name.

3.) Provide us with your App Store Connect API Key
Instead of inviting us to your account, you generate one App Store Connect API Key and send us four small details (the Key file, Key ID, Issuer ID, and your Team ID). We use it to sign and submit your app — and you can revoke it anytime.

4.) Choose the All platforms plan
Apple TV apps are built and submitted as part of the All platforms plan, which covers Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV and Android TV. When you request your Apple TV app in the dashboard, it offers you this plan directly. See tappla.com/pricing for the current price.

Note that the app submission process takes time (approx. 1-2 weeks)
Once you have provided us with all the information, it will take approximately 1-2 weeks for your app to be submitted and approved. The exact timeframe depends on how many other apps are in the pipeline.
