How to change the video order in your TV apps

Choose newest first, oldest first, or your own arrangement for every playlist in your Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku app. Set it on the Playlists page in your dashboard.

You control the order your videos appear in, for every playlist in your Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku app.

Set it in your dashboard

Open Playlists in your Tappla dashboard and use Video order inside every playlist:

  • Newest first - the most recent upload leads. Best for news, sermons and anything episodic.

  • Oldest first - good for a course or a series people watch in order.

  • Same order as your video source - you arrange it yourself (see below).

The change takes effect the next time the app starts. There is no re-sync and no new app build, and your viewers do not need to reinstall anything.

Arranging the order yourself

If you pick Same order as your video source and you use Vimeo, your Showcase order is what the app shows. In your Vimeo Showcase, choose Custom (drag and drop) from the order drop-down and drag your videos into the order you want.

After changing the arrangement in Vimeo, hit Sync Videos on your Playlists page so the app picks it up.
