You can easily enable / disable the live stream feature in the web dashboard (after login / signup).ย 

If you don't want to have a 'Live Stream' menu item in your Apple TV app, then just uncheck "Show Live Stream Page".

If you want to use the 'Live Stream' feature, here is how it works:

LIVE STREAM URL

Enter your HLS URL. HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) is a streaming technology created and required by Apple to distribute streaming media in a standardized way.

HLS URLs use the file extension M3U8. Almost all live video streaming providers offer these .m3u8 (HLS) stream URLs.

So just copy the HLS URL from your live streaming provider and paste it into the 'Live Stream URL' field in your Tappla dashboard.

The 'LIVE STREAM TITLE (FIRST LINE)' and 'LIVE STREAM TIME INFO (SECOND LINE)' and 'BACKGROUND IMAGE FOR LIVE STREAM SCREEN' will be shown on the live stream starting page.
